Soochow University hosted the “2008 Global Supply Chain and Logistics seminar” group and Professor Su Yi Hsiung led the group to Science Park Logistics in Hsin-Chu. The seminar group members include well-known scholars and businesses with great reputation, such as Martin Dresner, Supply Chain Management Professor at University of Maryland;

    The whole group arrived at 10AM and the event started with a presentation of Science Park’s organization introduction, business goals and strategies. Thereafter, Science Park’s receptionists showed them the warehouse working process as well as a luncheon where each professional shared ideas and discussed issues about logistics and supply chain management. 
It is believed that this cross academic and business interaction will provide attendants ideas for creative strategies in international supply chain management.
